Build week 5/18/15

Well, today is my blend date. Hoping the car is rolling down the line most of the way through assembly right now.

What's the average amount of time from blend date to car being built and ready to ship seem to be?

Not sure, the in production box on cotus says the build portion takes a few days so I'm hoping by Wednesday I'll see it change to awaiting shipment.

I've been reading up a lot on the wheel hop issue this chassis is suffering from and I'm basically going to have Steeda handle everything with my suspension. From braces to bushings to springs and sways it seems like they have the best solution for it. Fortunate to have them about an hour from my house also. I'll be heading down there shortly after the car arrives.

I'm pretty sure I'll be going steeda everything for suspension too. I'll most likely be doing all the install myself though.

I don't feel like tackling all of that in my garage so I'll trust the pros haha. That way it can get aligned as soon as it's all installed also.

I really don't feel like doing it myself but the cheap in me can't convince myself to pay for it. Plus the few shops around here I trust always are booked out several weeks or longer so I'd get it done sooner myself.

My car has finally moved into the awaiting shipment column.
I wonder how long it will really take to ship it to the left coast.
I know the rail system from Chicago to Portland is a straight route.

COTUS Updated overnight. The "Estimated Delivery Date went from 5/31 to 5/22! I hope it is accurate. If indeed it is accurate the whole thing was very fast (less than 4 weeks!)
