Build Week 3/9/15

15 days here! I'm heading to my dealership tomorrow to tell them not to put any stickers on the car, not to wash it, and to get the rail info

I wonder what that means for my car. Same build date yet cotus says mine is still awaiting shipment...I'm in Edmonton as well so I would have assumed it would have been on the same train. :shrug:

Mine just changed back to in transit for the 13th.

Anyone else have their cars take over 2 weeks to build? Still awaiting shipment with 15 days left on this delivery date. They have already pushed it back twice. I'm positive that I'm going to have the longest wait time from order to delivery.

Finally got an update. The train departed Delaware going towards Newark 12 hours ago. Its 120 miles between the two cities to thats one slow train.

Stopped at my dealership an hour ago. Guy there says its expected to arrive the week of April 4th. He said its unlikely it would arrive Saturday, but not impossible... That's 2 freakin days!!!

After he said that I got so excited that I forgot to ask about the rail car number :lol:

I did remember to request no dealership stickers put on it, and that the outside of the car NOT be detailed, as I was going to do it myself. It was like I was speaking Chinese to them when I requested that. In the end hes like, "hey its your car, up to you haha".

I questioned them on the FRPP Sport catback. Unfortunately there are NO authorized Ford Racing dealerships even remotely near my area. :( Looks like I'll have to order it offline and do it myself. From some of the threads I've read on here, it's an extremely well put together catback and easy-as-pie install; even for a dummy like me.

Mine's still awaiting shipment as well. No one seems to be able to give me any update as to why the hold up :(

Have you looked into the suitcase delete instead? Considering that catbacks dont add power anyways might as well save a few bucks and just go for the sound.

sub 300 bucks for the frpp or lethal midpipe deletes

Mine has been OKC for several days now and as of yesterday it was "placed in industry" status.

I was told by the dealer that the rail yard got hailed on the night mine came in to town, mine was still in the rail car. They are saying the hail damage has everything messed up, and adjusters crawling all over the lot. I was going to get to pick up the car at gate of the rail yard, but can't now because of this. Now I have to wait for it to get loaded on a transport truck and get driven across town. Not a peep from the dealer today with any updates.

Growing a little more frustrated as each day passes, so I have decided I am just going to wait until Monday if it is even ready by then. My friend who does paint and body, said he would look the car over with me. He bought his Raptor from them also, and they said "he was picky" when he found bubbles in the graphics. So depending on what we find, it may even be longer.

Going talk to my dealer tomorrow. Found one on a lot with more options, and only a few hundred more expensive. Mine is still awaiting shipment, and I'm beyond frustrated. By the time it comes in, it will be a year old. I'll either go for the one on the lot, or I'll wait for a 2016.

Thought I would go check Cotus for fun after the above post, my EDD is now pushed out until 4/6. The car is 17.2 miles from the dealer.
