I wasn't even thinking about the clear cover all you guys are talking about until I spent a little more time in the detailing threads. Don't know if it's the area most of them are in, or the car, but I'm hearing lots of stories about rock chips/dents. It's making me nervous and I don't even have the car yet. I'll hunt my surrounding area and see if I cant rustle up a quote or two. Thanks!

Just make sure whoever you get a quote from uses machine cut templates...lots of interesting curves/angles on these cars would be easy for an installer to screw up especially if they haven't worked with one yet.

Well it looks like my mustang is moving backward!!
Its been awaiting shipment according to cotus and Ford Service Canada since 3/16/2015. I checked with FordService today and got this response:

"Hey whoishomer,

No new updates yet - your Mustang is still in the production stage, with a to be determined ETA. The next stage will be awaiting shipment."

WTF?!?

WTF?!?

If your dealer isn't helping I'd be calling Ford Canada at this point...there is no excuse for other cars to have arrived that were ordered around the same time and yours to be in limbo.

If Ford Canada can't help I'd be cancelling my deal with whoever you ordered from and ordering again through a different dealer. Let me know if you want to give Heartland a try.

Yeah I called Ford Canada. Got a call back from a manager today. Said she still has a few calls to make, but typically can't do anything until its been 12 weeks from the order date. I emailed my dealer today and am waiting to hear back. If I don't hear anything by the end of the week I may just cancel my order, and perhaps wait a bit and order a 2016

My COTUS changed from 4/18 EDD to 4/17. Not that that means a whole lot. Doesn't seem like anybody's car is delivered exactly on the EDD. Never bothered to track it via rail, so I have no idea where it is.

When my COTUS dropped backwards a day I called the dealer and that was it arriving at the rail yard/being adjusted for dealer delivery day from there.

No car yet. They said early next week. COTUS is still showing 6 days. Picked up some Plasti Dip. Going to black out the horse on the front grill, maybe the side "5.0" badges as well. The stuff is pretty cheap, so I'll experiment with it.
