Still in awaiting shipment. EDD is 15 days away (doubt it though)

Reading about the holds and QC issues and what not I'm seriously considering getting one of of the lot.

I called the dealership to cancel the order but the dealer was out today ... 2h later i see my status updated to "in transit". It was for one week on "awaiting shipment".
The date on cotus says awaiting shipment completed on 2/20 .., one day after blend date.

My car was delivered this afternoon 2/27, right on the latest COTUS EDD (which did have a 1 week extension).

It was built 2/17. It has 89 miles on it, could it be that FORD did some "Quality Checks" ??

So good to see it arrive! Congrats. The red is sweet. I had a hard time choosing guard over ruby. Enjoy.

I know noone at the dealer location took it for a spin. Everyone at the dealership has been on high alert !

Nice! The dealer here has a ruby red GT with performance (almost with the same options as mine) and it really pops. I had a candy red 2015 and I thought I was over red... But damn. Hopefully when I see my magnetic I'll fall in love

How many days did it take for yours to change to 'Awaiting Shipment' on Cotus?

It went to Awaiting Shipment on its Blend Date and to In Transit the next day. It's now on a train headed for the west coast.

OK Gang here is an update. Brought our new Ruby Red home today - nice break in the weather with a high temp of 20 deg. It had 89 miles on it a dealer right off convoy.

There was a sticker on the window which read;

TO THE OWNER:

THIS NEW VEHICLE WAS SELECTED AT RANDOM FOR ROAD TESTING FOLLOWING ASSEMBLY. THE ODOMETER READING INCLUDES 88 MILES/KILOMETERS REGISTERED DURING THIS EVALUATION.

WE HOPE YOU WILL ENJOY DRIVING YOUR NEW FORD MOTOR COMPANY VEHICLE FOR MANY SAFE AND PLEASANT MILES.

WOW - very nice. Love it! My Ruby Red GT PP is on the train on the way to the west coast. EDD is 03/12 - so hopefully I won't have to wait that much longer.
