COTUS is totally whacked out. According to QACOTUS, my convertible was delivered on Monday, 1 March! But had 9 more days before it would arrive!
COTUS said that my car had been assembled and was now awaiting transit. But Rachel checked and said that it had been assembled 10 Feb, but was still being held in Production as of today. She didn't know why.
I could see 'awaiting shipment' as a Quality Control issue. But why would it still be held in Production if it had already been built? Maybe it's stuck half in and half out?

Topless...you might want to check with Rachel, before cheering. COTUS says my convertible is awaiting shipment, But Rachel found out that it actually has been stuck in Production since the 10th! No idea when it would actually start to travel.

My car's production date is today. How long usually does it go from "in production" to "awaiting shipment?"

Actually I just emailed my salesman to see if my delivery date changed. Still scheduled for 3/15 but I doubt it.

So spoke to dealer manager. My situation is way different from you guys.

My ETA may be 3/15, but it could be much farther out than that. Once it hits the train, it's on it's way to thier ocean logistics team, because it has to go overseas. Who knows how long customs will hold up the car. Once that's over, then it goes onto the ship, but the company that ships our cars only ships once a week. So if we pass the day of that week that they sail, then we have to wait till next week. After that, re about a 10 day voyage or so before it hits the islands.

So realistically, I should be looking at another 30 days or so, not the 23 days that COTUS is saying.

Hang in there, build week buddy! Most of you guys are keenly aware that cars built a week prior to this one are being held up for what most on the forums feel is a QC issue. Here's to remaining cautiously optimistic that our cars will be error free.

Also, with the West Coast port shutdowns looming, it'll probably be held up before it even makes it on the boat.
