Build Week 2/16/15

Just got a call from my dealer. He says my car will arrive 3/17 !

I said well, my blend date is TODAY, 2/17 and my COTUS EDD is 2/28.

Who to believe? From all my reading I want to lean toward COTUS - maybe just wishful thinking.

Hope your dealer is right my edd just got pushed back to 03/12

For Docdog's sake I hope his dealer is wrong ang the earlier 2/28 Cotus EDD date is correct.

Woops read his original post wrong lol yea hopefully cotus is right they play with ur emotions tho it was the 3rd Bday the 5th now it says the 12th

What was your build date? Did it move out once or twice too?

Well, I just update my signature to include more info - should have done that sooner.

I think since TODAY is my Blend date, it must have triggered a message to my dealer.

The difference between COTUS EDD and what the dealer told me is about 1 month !

I also hope Cotus is correct!!

Did you recently change the spelling of you location in your profile? I would have sworn it always had an 'L' in it (but I may be wrong). With an 'H' it sounds like with an accent! ;)

Hahaha only people that have been to Hawaii and interacted and observed the japanese tourists would understand why I renamed my location ;)

Haha you could just say it. at the hotel I used to work at, it was a running joke. We are supposed to say "aloha" to the guests but to other coworkers we would be like "aroha" even some of the workers that speak fluent japanese and are from Japan would say that running joke. Haha

We make fun of a lot of asian cultures here because we're just one big melting pot.

Checking COTUS this morning, it now has my car i"DELIVERED". The Waiting and In Transit are checked (with no dates) EDD still at 2/28. The text says it has been delivered and will be available at my dealer in a few days ! Countdown = 9.

I plan to give the dealer a call this AM.

Looks like my car was built on the Blend Date of 2/17.

My previous entry which showed the car "Delivered" was from
wwwqa.cotus.ford.com

I checked www.cotus.ford.com and the status is "Awaiting Shipment" with "In Production" completed on 2/17 - which is more correct than the previously mentioned site.

IIRC 4-5 days before your 'build date' (not week), people had first seen their Window Sticker link appear, then become active in +/- 24 hours. Is that what you 2/16 week folks are finding?

How many days before your build date are you seeing the WS link, then it being active?
I'm wondering what date slips if any from your original scheduled ones are you 2/16 weekers seeing? With the 2/2 weekers having cars 'held in QA' and not to ship until 2/20, I wonder how it is affecting your 2/16 (and my soon 2/23) week cars? (Also was chatter on 2/9 thread that there did not seem to be many in their 2/9 week.)

Thanks for heads up to check non qa Cotus as I am expecting to see my Window Sticker link appear today or tomorrow (2/23 build date).
