Talk about organization. How about taking 3-4 months to complete a 350. 70 per hour it's no wonder that the 350 will take 3 weeks in the quality dept fixing mistakes.

Well I'm about to lose my mind seeing all these people get their cars so fast. I ordered from a really small dealership and that's the only reason I can think of for why it hasn't been delivered (allocation or something). Didn't do the proper research beforehand but really noone seems to know how it works as it seems it is different for each car ordered. I've read all I can read about the car. I've watched every video on youtube. I've lurked the forum for hours on end lol. I know I won't care when it gets here but man I am really wishing i would of just found one on lot, whether it had what I wanted or not. Just venting.

Deysha and this forum are awesome though and I've picked up a lot of knowledge i wouldn't of otherwise. Hopefully we all get our cars sooner than later.

I asked my salesman to just leave it as is until I get there. My son and I will take the plastic off. I don't want it washed or anything. As soon as I get it home, it gets clay barred, paint sealant and a clear bra installed. He made sure others at the dealership knew.....lol.

I am going to copycat you. Asked my dealer to do the same thing. With my luck, detail would ding the door or drop the rag and scratch the car.

I ordered from a fairly big dealership, and as far as I'm aware, my car is still sitting at the factory, waiting to be loaded onto a train car. I wouldn't worry about it too much. I think that DoingOK somehow just got super fast shipping, and we'll see ours within a couple weeks.

I agree......mine was just one of those things where the stars aligned or something. I was actually expecting early-mid December delivery time frame. It's too bad anyways since I can't get it for another week (I'm in Virginia and the car is in Rochester, NY). I opted for this dealership because they were one of only a handful that sold brand new Raptors (2013) at invoice pricing. I ended up $1500 below invoice price on the Mustang. I saved almost $12,000 combined by going there for both vehicles. Worth a plane ticket to me.

When you say invoice, I assume you're talking monroney label(window sticker) and not invoivce (dealer cost).

I ordered through the largest volume Ford dealer in my area and it is now evident I will be waiting two full months (9+ weeks) for expected delivery. The only gripe I have is that the GM of the dealer told me delivery was running 4 to 5 weeks and I believed him....at the time~!
I am resolved to stay the course and be patient.

I actually do mean invoice (dealer cost). My window sticker (Monroney) list the MSRP at $45,860......Invoice price is $43, 177.92. My salesman offered me the car at $500 below invoice plus I have another $1000 in incentives (retired military and retail customer cash). My final price is ~$41,677.92 which is a very fair price. No dealership in my area would get within $4,000 of that price. Oh well.

I live in Virginia but my new GT is in Rochester, NY. My wife is visiting family in Rochester this weekend so I had her go look at the car for me today. Everything looks real good and I only had one concern about the trunk alignment. I make it up to New York right after Thanksgiving to pick it up. Only slightly torturous.
