Build Week 05/11

Having ordered a vehicle from Ford in the past for delivery to the NoVA/DC/MD area I think we can expect them to come by convoy so hopefully that will shorten the transportation time for us once they are built.

It's my understanding about a week before the build week. I'm going to check with the ford rep here again thus Thursday and try to limit bugging them to once a week

So when do we get window stickers and EDDs?

Ford Service told me that may not actually happen until the actual build week, that the "pizza build" is only triggered when someone behind the scenes pushes a button -- it kind of makes sense because we wouldn't really know an EDD until the car is being built, or has been built. I figure I wont have mine until June.

I'm hoping with a build week of the 11th I see mine right before memorial day. I'm anxious of course but it would be great to take advantage of any additional dealer incentives for the holiday. Other threads seem to show 4-5 weeks delivery from order lately. I also like to think they might be winding down a bit with lot orders etc for this model year and that might accelerate production speed of what is left.

Only a few days left until we see what the May incentives are...
