Thanks ....but really built 11/11 and not released yet and then wait for a shipping co. It's just a $60K mustang might as well be a base V/6 as far as shipping is concerned. That's why BMW, Porsche and corvette people won't come over to ford. Not sure why I'm here either.

It is normal for them not to be released right away, 5.0 435. I am sure they go through a quality check before they are released.

It takes them weeks to look over a mass produced car. Maybe they should slow down the line and get it right the first time . This is just ridiculous. G5520976. Come to papa.

The Flat Rock plant is truly amazing. They are producing ALL the Mustang for the U.S. as well as 110 additional countries inside the almost 3,000,000 square foot facility. To make things more interesting, they also produce the Ford Fusion on the same line! They produce up to 70 per hour. Talk about organization.
Oh! There goes your Mustang!

From the Detroit Free Press:
Ford confirmed Wednesday that the all-new Lincoln Continental full-size sedan slated to go on sale next year will be built at its Flat Rock plant in Michigan.
The Flat Rock plant makes the Ford Mustang as well as the Ford Fusion. It has the capacity and flexibility to add another vehicle and the Continental is expected to be built on a stretched version of the underpinnings of the Fusion.

Well I guess the stork came a little early. I special ordered this car on 10/23 and it arrived at the dealership today(11/19). Too bad I'm 9 hours away from the dealership right now :rant:

I asked my salesman to just leave it as is until I get there. My son and I will take the plastic off. I don't want it washed or anything. As soon as I get it home, it gets clay barred, paint sealant and a clear bra installed. He made sure others at the dealership knew.....lol.
