I just got off the phone with the car hauling company. He said that the "Hold" has been released on my car and it's being delivered to the dealer today!!! I'm not going to hold my breath though. If it is true, it will have taken exactly 8 weeks from order to delivery.

You should check with your Dealer to see what the Customer Cash Back is now that it's November. I signed my paperwork for my EcoBoost on Saturday and got $2500 Cash Back.

[MENTION=19108]nortoncommando[/MENTION] would you check ETIS and tell us if yours still shows the recall? It will be good to know the lag time between when it is cleared and ETIS being updated, or if thereout is even a correlation.

I checked Etis and the Ford Owner site and it still shows the recall. My dealer had said that they were going to have to do any recall repairs. If necessary, they are going to take seatbelt parts from another Mustang on their lot.

Also, I called VOPC and Customer service... Both said my car had no new ETA. VOPC said that there was still a hold on my car. However, VOPC said that their systems only update on Tuesdays when it relates to a Plant Hold.

Mine was stuck in the rail yard. Technically it was released to the car hauling company 3 weeks ago. But the hauling company doesn't have a lot to store the cars. So it was in the railyard parking lot just down the road from me.

Also, what is the cash back people are talking about? If we're using X-Plan, we're not getting that, right?

My final destination is the St. Louis, MO area and the car was being held at the Wentzville, MO Railyard. I'm going to drive by the dealer on my lunch break to se if it has arrived yet.

My car was X-Plan and I got $2500 cashback on Saturday. It was originally $500 cash back so I'm not sure if it was something special for the end of the month or not, but you should check with your Dealer on the current program which likely started today.

The rebates are regional. $500 is still all we get in TN.

Went to the dealer today to have them refund me my down payment and cancel the order. After about 5 minutes a flat bed drove up, with my car on it. I couldn't believe it. Finally got it home!!

I called the 800 number - ETA pushed back two more days to 11/8. I'll be out of town. CSR saw Twin Oaks, PA listed - but said he couldn't tell me if the car was there, or still heading there.

Well, bad news for me at least. Car just got into the dealer. Turns out I need the seatbelt fixed. Do they have the parts on hand? Of course not. Will the parts come in soon? Of course not. Parts for the fix are to be delivered November 30th.

Words cannot describe how much I want to back out of this deal. What a shitshow.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat too but I've bothered the crap out of the dealer so they just want me to go away :-) .... so they are going to pull the parts off of another car in stock and swap them until the new ones come in.

What's BS is that they obviously have the parts because they haven't stopped building new cars...

I was also just told no way before the end of November and they can't have me keep the loaner they have me for that long. I am going to have to explore my other options.
