My dealer called and my car is being unloaded off the truck right now! Repairs are yet to be completed, but at least we're seeing progress now. Hopefully the parts won't be delayed too long.

I just found my car on cars.com, not just a car like the one I ordered, the dealer has my actual car listed, verified by the VIN.

The real funny thing is that it lists that it is "guaranteed to be Recall free"

I did not cancel my order yet.... Not sure if this link will work or not. I am sure they automatically post card to generate interest, still upsetting. Also ironic that they have it listed as "guaranteed to be recall free"

Well this is crappy, I ordered mine on August 8 2015 and it's now November 2 2015 and I'm still waiting. What I was told by my salesman is that it would be here in as little as 8 weeks. Then two weeks ago I received an email from him saying I'll have it by the 24-31 of October. I contacted him and still no word. I can't stand the fact that it's been 3 months since I ordered it let alone all the time I've been waiting before the ordering and the lottery game the dealer makes you play. I was lucky enough to be the chosen one to win the lottery out of 17 people since they were only allocated one Shelby. But this is like a huge tease. This weather isn't gonna last long and when I do get it it will be to shitty outside to drive it. It's like having a drop dead hot wife or girlfriend and you can't get it up and all you can do is stare at it. Wtf ford lets get the ball rolling for Christ sakes I live in Michigan and only 40 minutes from flat rock!!! And now I'm hearing about guys in Virginia getting theirs already. This sucks!!!

Unofficially took delivery tonight ... weather was crap and the 405 ... was the 405 ... I'll pick it up tomorrow. Luckily I snuck in under the wire and got the customer cash before it disappears tomorrow since I purchased under x-plan.

Hey, Norton. Did the dealership get a go-ahead to pull parts off other cars from corporate? My dealer said they've done that before but don't think it'd be possible in this instance. I'm just wondering if corporate is going to be lenient in this case. Thanks.

I will hopefully find out today. I will let you know.

I can't even imagine getting a Camaro. I can imagine however, cancelling my order and doing something in the spring. The new incentives actually hurt me since I'm already getting below X Plan pricing; have to insure the car through winter, etc. I wonder what spring incentives usually are...

Let us not forget that $37,000 pricetag for a 1SS which is the base model, and $42,000 for the 2SS which is the premium. No way a Camaro SS is worth that much, especially with the bland styling and obstructed view lol.
