Yup. My new ETA is today-10/19! A couple days ago I was told that it was 11/16.
Whoa, today is the 16th! You mean you found out today your ETA is the 19th? Cause I start getting itchy and scratchy on the 19th.
Glad you made it through all that turbulence, smooth landing from here on out.

when I checked with VOPC this morning they told me the car had been re-released but my ETA was still "TBD". That would be great if we all found out our cars were further along than we thought.

Mine is still TBD... In transit, last update was 10/9 stop ship the day after it got to the port. I'm done looking at what the ETA might be. I'm just going to crawl up in a ball in the corner until I get that phone call.:headbonk:

And then.....my ETA was changed to the 30th, joining the ranks of those being invariably yanked around like a yo-yo. Always easier to say where it isn't than where it is; that it will arrive but not when. Kind of fun to be able to track it as much as we can but it just leads to too much frustration when the setbacks occur, as I'm sure they always have only now we can see them happen in 'real time'. I've waited years for this to happen, a few more days isn't going to hurt. Just remember, especially if you've never driven a new Mustang off the showroom floor, it'll be worth the wait.

Just in case you're interested.... here's what the tracking on mine looks like and how it's just bizarre. The stuff on 10/7 just showed up late yesterday/early today (today is 10/16).

My dealer confirmed that the car it's still sitting in the rail car and hasn't been unloaded. That suggests a hold from Ford. They were nice enough to get me a loaner until my car comes in, which helps a lot.

That's way more information than I need. I don't want to know how my hot dog is made! I'm grinding my teeth as it is, can't imagine what you're going through. Just hope it shows up as ordered, without major flaws, and within a reasonable window. And your dealer doesn't pile on with price dangling.

Hope this works, I saved it as a pdf to make it easier. Again, I made this really quick for myself to remember to check certain things. Towards the bottom, for the wheels, I abbreviated df, driver front, pr, passenger rear..etc. Hope it helps
That checklist was very helpful. thanks again

Picked up my 16 Eco Premium Guard stallion on Wednesday, Did a little PDI before signing on the delivery papers. I observed that the panel gap tolerances on 2016's were much tighter than 2015's. In few of the 15's, my little finger can slide throgh the gap created after the passenger/driver door was closed.

On the overall I found no issues on the panels, hood and the trunk. Most of them were aligned and acceptable. I think the driver side seat belt is twisted will check it out again(didn't notice it at the dealer) Got it tinted from the dealer and it was :frusty: saw air bubbles on the little quarter panel window, and dealer said he will rectify it. The tires were over inflated to 42PSI while delivery, luckily checked the TPMS and got it down to the recommended 32 PSI.

This is my first Mustang and I am totally loving it. The Guard color is incredible, its like a chameleon - at nights when its dark, it looks like a shadow black with a slight matt finish, early in the morning when the sunlight is subtle, it shows more of a charcoal grey and when its bright out there its more of a grey with a tint of dark green and got those Macho attitute :headbang: I want to share some pics but not able to figure out how to post the pics, its prompting for a image link.

Though I had a very bad dealer experience, in the end when I was driving back home after getting it from the showroom, that BIG GRIN on my face made me let go of the nightmares I had with the dealer. Its a complete package, its got good luxury, excellent driving composure and dynamics, very good suspension tuning. Ford you did it... :ford:

Going on a 600 Mile trip over the weekend, will keep it updated.

So what are the big issues that you guys have read about or are seeing? It looks like many of you have mentioned the panel gaps. -Which is ridiculous and unacceptable. What else should I look out for. Brendan .pdf check list is great and I've downloaded it. I saw in a thread somewhere that people were talking about the glass being lower on one side? What exactly is the issue there? I'm not sure what to look for exactly.

Last time I check my car was still at the rail yard. (Which is only about 15 miles from my house). I made the mistake of driving by there yesterday. I don't know what I was expecting by I guess I was hoping to see my fancy new mustang getting pulled off of the train and nicely plopped on a truck. Well, when I pulled up to the rail yard the very first thing I saw was a row of vehicles that were completely CRUSHED. No Mustangs but several Chevy vans and a few Trucks that were clearly destroyed in route. It makes me wonder if perhaps some of these issues aren't actually occurring at the factory but in transit?

I don't know if you guys know this but if you dial 1-800-392-3673 then option 1, then 4, then, 5 you get Ford Customer Service. (It's the number on Deysha's signature). The very nice customer service people have the ability to look up your VIN and give you the same tracking. Just thought I'd pass it along.
