Build Week - 09/28/15

GT5150....your timeline mirrors mine exactly. I still have no clue what the status of my car is. Maybe ours are keeping each other company.

I haven't heard of a seatbelt issue with mine, but they said today it is in line for shipment. ETA hasn't changed, which is still about 3 weeks sooner that I had anticipated so I can't complain.

I was told mine was released for shipping on the 30th. Not sure if there is anything to the story about the seatbelts my dealer fed me or not.

My dealer doesn't think it will picked up by Sunday. I'll have to wait until my next day off on Friday. :(

Me dealer put a rush call into the port Thursday and Friday and was told its still on the rail car. Monday or Tuesday it should be in. Chances are they are sitting together on the same rail car. I hope that's not the case for you, but prob is.

My car was built 12 days ago and hasn't been released from the plant yet. I hope it doesn't have too many miles on it from whatever QC check it must be undergoing. I guess mine may be one of the 4,000 affected by the seatbelt issue.

Same here. Car was built 9/29 and has been in limbo since.

I'm being patient because I would much rather the issue (whatever it is) be handled at the factory prior to shipping than fight with Ford to get it addressed once it's delivered. This is the replacement vehicle I special ordered after winning my Lemon Law claim on my current Stang. At least I know this time around issues are being addressed by Ford at the factory even though they won't say what the issue is. At least I'm driving a 15 so the wait isn't as bad for me. Funny that my EDD is still showing in the system as 10/15-10/21 which is definitely not possible at this point.

I bet that means mine did too! Will you PM me your train car number and who your dealer is? We can compare delivery times! My dealer is on the SW side of Ft. Worth.

I just spoke with someone in VOPC. And was told the estimated release date for my car is 11/16, but that is subject to change.

I just found out my car is sitting about 2.5 hours away in a holding area due to a seat belt issue. Ford Rep is not giving my Dealer and ETA, very frustrating!

If your car is affected by the same seatbelt issue mine is, you may be in for a long wait. My car was sent back to the plant to fix.

If they tell me that, I found another almost identical car at a local Dealer except for the 3.55 Rear Axle. I'll buy that one.

I've been looking at inventory of all the local dealers. Can't find a car id "settle" for yet. I'm not sure I want to wait until late November to get the car I ordered, though.

Right there with you! Now that I peeled myself off the ceiling, I may go back to the Dealer to have the Ford Rep call me directly. I can't see why they won't ship the car to the Dealer and allow them to do the seat belt fix.

I just spoke to Ford CS and they say my car is showing in Production, yesterday it showed it finished building 10/1 and Etis shows the same. I'm ready to say eff it, I've had enough and may just ask for a repurchase instead.
