$300 seems like a steep price to pay for a new steering wheel that has all the same jazz but hot damn, that looks so soft. Once I get wheels, tires, and lowering springs, that is the next thing on my list.

Well, besides actually getting my car first.

Thanks guys!
Where did you get the GT350 steering wheel?

I actually picked it up from LevittownFord here on the forum. Got it for $160 shipped back in September before they jacked the prices up.

Looks amazing with the new steering wheel.... such a hot car. Then my eyes land on the start button :( You must class that up!!! :D
Thanks! Yeah I agree! Will be getting some kind of overlay here soon.

Today I got good news, after months of my car being "in transit" according to my salesman, dealer and regional customs service manager, I receive a phone call today that my mustang is in the middle of Ohio on its way down to Florida and should be here within 1 week!

Hell yeah! It's gotten to the point where I'm starting to enjoy these success stories. Congrats, bro!

They are trying to tell me that abuse caused the clutch to go out at less than 1,000 miles. I told them that was ridiculous and they said they would file a warranty claim with Ford.

That's bullshit! How about threatening the dealership with legal action for selling you a car with an active recall? I wouldn't pay that, no way! Did they show you the clutch to show you the alleged abuse?

The flywheel and pressure plate are perfectly fine. The clutch disc on the flywheel side was normal but the pressure plates side was pretty worn out on the outer edge. I'm at my local dealership and not at the one that sold me the car. I will be contacting Ford about the recall very soon.

Sounds like a faulty part not from abuse. I would replace it with a McLeod street racing clutch not the garbage clutch Ford uses.

Really? Ford first gave you a lemon but you took another one from the same company that produces a 'garbage clutch'. Then you C Quartz the POS and brag about how happy you are with it? WTF,O?

WTF are you talking about? I don't have to explain anything to you. The car that Ford bought back was built poorly and I chose to get another Mustang. Where did I say it was a POS? That really has nothing to do with this.

I'm pretty sure Ford didn't manufacture the clutch. Point being that if my factory clutch went out at 1000 miles and it's not covered under warranty by Ford I wouldn't put in the same one, I would put in a stronger clutch. If the stock clutch fails so prematurely than yes, it's garbage.

Not her car. Someone else. Go back a page.

Digi, are you a clutch pedal foot tester when you drive? That's the only thing that could cause that, or else you don't know how to drive a stick. Or the disc was contaminated when installed.

Anyone hear anymore details regarding our recalled cars?

Many dealer told me Ford confirmed to them the fix would be "released" on November 30th, but parts wouldn't be available to fix the car until the 2nd week of December.

Unbelievable. I wonder how many special orders got cancelled? The only thing holding us back from cancelling is the desire to not have someone else driving around in our custom ordered car in our small town. Who knows though? Maybe we'll find a deal we can't pass up when we're in Sac this weekend. ... seriously getting tired of waiting. ... especially with no incentive to continue.

Very frustrating, I had asked my dealer to very a car from another dealer to buy rather than my special order. They basically told me they wouldn't do that. I am tempted to go to that dealer and buy that car from them, but I don't want a fight with my current dealer and they are paying for a rental car until my car is ready.
