Build Week - 09/28/15

It's not even noticeable, took me two days to notice and I always buckle up. The first two pictures are of the driver side and the second two are the passenger side. They're not the same size or shape and wtf is that on the driver side one and the passenger side has a strip of one side of Velcro. I will ask for them to be replaced when the actual fix for the recall is available.

PonyGrrrl, I went to look at my seat belts and noticed the exact same thing! It looks like the passenger and rear seats have the same buckle. I wish they were all the same. the velcro looks off, like it's not supposed to be there.. I'm happy that I got my car at least. There are a few minor paint imperfections, but I think I'll be able to fix it.

The Velcro is fugly and it's just so strange that I one is different from the rest. I'm pretty sure my rear seats and driver side are the same but I will have to check when I go pick it up from the detailer later. I'm wondering how many others have the same mismatched ones. I'm going to start a thread in the technical subforum in "issue, warranty, and recalls" to see how wide spread it is.

Mine's disappeared too, but it did about 2 weeks ago too and it was a ford computer error and the damn thing came back
Will keep checking over the next 12 hours or so and hope its permanently disappeared

Yeah, my dealer said the same thing. They wanted to do it, but they have no idea what the hell even needs to be replaced. That's honestly the most surprising aspect of this shit show. The withholding of information isn't allowing dealers to find a solution to the problem. I would imagine it makes more sense to swap parts from a V6 or something in order to get a special order car sold off the lot. If there are less desired cars just sitting around, they can wait for the parts.

I said the same thing to my dealer yesterday about switching the parts off another mustang in which they quickly said they couldn't do. I was at the dealer negotiating an a 2016 GT Premium for 3 hours, we finally agree on a price and the sales manager comes over and says they can't sell me this mustang due to the recall. I was pissed that I wasted 3 hours for nothing. They said they would call me when the parts came in andw ill keep all the numbers we agreed to. At this point I'm going to other dealers this weekend, already called one and told them what happened and they didn't even know about the recall.

The recall is still showing on Etis for the car that I ordered.

14 hours later and its still vanished, hopefully this indicates a permanent fix and not a computer error like last time

Picked my new car up tonight! Wow! So worth the wait! Even threw on the GT350 steering wheel I had as soon as I got home and what a difference that is!

I haven't received an update on the paint repair order for my lower door panel. The car was sold with the recall and wasn't done at the port as told by my dealer. Now the clutch in my car decided to not want to disengage and now it won't allow any gear to be selected. The dealer is wanting me to pay $1,500 for a new clutch. It just keeps getting better.

I don't understand why you would have to pay the $1,500.
