So I went to go upload my latest tune revision from Lund this afternoon before leaving work, tune loaded successfully , shut the car off for ten seconds per the instructions, go to start car and nothing but warning lights and chimes. I tried to load it again and then gauge will not read my car. I tried resetting battery, checking Pcm fuses and updating firmware and still nothing. Should I start looking for a new pcm

Disconnect the battery for a bit and then try. That happened to me when I first tried flashing my tune.

I tried that but I only left it disconnected for ten minutes before trying to start again and nothing. I decided to leave the battery in hooked overnight I'll try again in the morning I suppose.

I always put it on a charger when flashing just as a precaution, I don't think that's it.

I'm just trying to help, buddy had same issue and was freaking and... Battery was dead. Either way I doubt the PCM is bricked. If you have SCT call them they can fix it remotely.

Have you tired installing the stock tune then going back to the revised one? Also you cannot have any thing open that is read by the computer while loading tunes. I thought I bricked mine 13 because it did exactly like yours is now and it was because I had the hood open while loading the tune.

I don't think that is true. Maybe it was something else? I've always flashed mine with the hood up because I have a battery tender on it.

i haven't been able to get the Ngauge to read my car since this happened, It says communication error cannot read vehicle(3) I did have the drivers door open while it flashed, but I have done that before it all went okay, the weird thing is the car flashed fine and even said flash successful, just after the 10 second shutdown is when it lost communication. I've tried about everything I can think of, I just went back to work after leaving the battery disconnected for a few hours and that didn't help either. The part I'm worried about is even if Lund sends me a new file how can I upload if the tuner won't see my car. It says vin not recognized in the gauge settings

Send Lund the situation. I'm sure they've seen whatever issue you're having. They answer quickly too.

I'm waiting on there reply, they close @ 5 and I emailed them around ten after lol. I'm sure they will have a way to recover, at least I hope, because I've already tried every tip and trick I can research to no avail

Check the contacts on the back of the nGauge and make sure they are all straight and making good contact with the cable. Likewise, check the other end too. I thought there was a thread once were the contacts were cause some communication issues.

Sorry if I missed it does the car start and run fine before? Mine did this and I left the battery unhooked and then it worked.

Problem solved. Hptuners got involved and sent me a recovery file. Apparently my new tune file for corrupted somehow. I will say both hp and Lund provided great support and had it handles right away this morning

Glad you got it worked out. I'm looking at a Lund tune for my GT soon, and i'm reading good things about their customer support.
