Working on my brake conversion today to the Brembo 6 piston calipers. Note to anyone who ordered the 50th anniversary calipers from eBay, they don’t come with guide pins. Neither did the new rotors and pad kit.

Anyone know where to find just the guide pins? This is the Ford part number, fr3z-2068-c, but it is for the clip, center bolt, nut, and pins. The cheapest I can find is $37 on Rockauto and it requires 2.

I only need the 2 pins on the left. Well, 4 total.

I did the exact same upgrade and came to the same conclusion as you, that the OEM hardware is expensive AF. The brake pads I bought came with the rattle clip, but not the pins.

Luckily, Optimum Performance sells what you need for $18.

I knew someone here had to have found a cheaper solution.

How is the brake upgrade working out?
