Mines still doin the exact same thing. Bedding them again works for a couple days then it comes back. I now stop a little later with a little more brake pressure than before and itll squeak for a quick second and then go away till I start letting off the pressure again at the end of the stop which produces the same short squeak. After a couple good stops like this itll generally go away for the rest of the trip until I start all over again. Im gonna pull the rotors and either replace them OR have them resurfaced and then bed the brakes properly and see how long it lasts.

Sounds like the same issue we're all having. Y'all please post updates once you visit the dealer (ATLalien) and put on new rotors (66sprint6).

I finally got around to bringing mine in yesterday. My car is a 15 and I only have 10K miles, so the dealer mechanic thought my squeal was due to the car sitting for long stretches, accumulating a little surface rust on the rotors and never really being driven for long enough stretches for that to wear off. He indicated it should go away on it's own after enough driving. He was not aware of any TSB - I've seen this referenced on our site here before but does it pertain to PP/Brembo cars?

Although I could understand the thought behind the mechanic's theory, I'm skeptical. It's true I don't do many miles and my car will sit for days at a time. However, my squeal doesn't start until the brakes warm up. I would think if the rust was the issue, it should be worse when the brakes are cold before the pads have scraped off any rust. Also, I can't imagine it taking more than 20-30 miles to get rid of surface rust, and I'll easily do that on the days I do take it out.

That said, I decided to drive a bit more for the next couple of weeks and see what happens. They mentioned my brakes and pads are still under warranty and offered to turn the rotors if I saw no improvement.

Update: Driving the car for almost 600 miles did nothing to mitigate the squeal. In fact it may have gotten worse. Took it in again this Saturday; they've called me back today saying they're going to lube the pads and pins with a special Brembo lube. But if that doesn't take care of it, I'm out of luck. Apparently the brembo PP brakes are only warrantied for 1 year or 18K miles, whichever comes first. I've only got 10K, but it's over a year old. Sounds like a really crappy warranty to me.

Not sure how I'm going to proceed if they're not able to resolve the issue with the lubricants.

My dealership did NOT put on new rotors after telling me they would. They had the car a couple days and told me they couldnt hear any noise. They greased the calipers and thats it. It made noise pulling out of the parking lot. Ive lived with it ever since. I can make it go away by stopping a little later than normal and getting on the pedal a little harder. 5 or 6 stops into any trip I take and the squeal goes away till the next time I go out. Im going to either have the rotors turned or replace them entirely and toss some new pads on here soon I believe.

Yeah, my dealer initially offered to turn the rotors as well, but that was before they "discovered" the warranty issue. I'm assuming they still would but it would be on my dime.

They just called back to say that they've applied the lube and it doesn't seem to be squealing now, but they only test drove it for 2-3 miles and it never did it till the breaks warmed up anyway. Usually I have to drive at least 5-6 miles before it starts, so I'm not that confident it will fix it for good, we'll see.

If the lube doesn't resolve mine, I may actually get rid of the car (maybe). I'd be willing to put up with a little squeal, but can't live with the current levels. I've pretty much babied this car, and if the brakes are squealing like this at 11K miles and they're now out of warranty, I don't want to deal with that on a still new car that I paid $40K for. I have a decent amount of equity in the car and would do well on a trade.

Sell the car? Why don't you just change the pads to something non-OEM?

Heh, I know that sounds extreme for such a simple issue, and it probably is. Perhaps the frustration will pass.
Just the principal really though. I shouldn't have to worry about brakes on a car this new (let alone fund a fix out of my own pocket). I also had many of other QC issues folks complain about on our forum (loose leather, couple of misaligned panels, rear window was replaced due to distortion). Ford made all of that right, but it was a pain. Tires are just normal maintenance of course, but it doesn't help that I just dropped a bunch of $ for 4 new MPSS's. Makes it a little more painful to spend on brakes that should still be fine anyway.
If the squeal comes back, knowing I should do well on a trade makes it very tempting to get out while the gettin's good!

Drive it harder, brake harder and bed those pads a little and itll help. Mine isnt super loud and like I said, I can actually drive in a way that makes it go away. Mine starts almost immediately squealing tho and goes away if I stop shorter and a little harder (nothing unsafe mind you) after a couple miles. I will eventually sort it out and if I do Ill report back but it doesnt bother me as bad now that I know how to drive around it.

After the first visit to the dealer, I did a 180 mile trip to the mountains and back for some spirited driving. A good bit of hard braking was done that day and it didn't make a difference then. Also did a 500 mile hwy trip a couple weeks later and the problem was still there.

Now after the 2nd visit, I can report that there's been a good improvement since the lube/stop squeal was applied. It's not gone altogether but it's at a very livable level right now. To your point, I also do notice that it will almost go away now after really hard braking. If it continues this way, I'll be ok with it.
