the awesome expensive ones 😉

That's pricing for a full kit like the one I have with CCM rotors and RB calipers all four corners.

This is the actual caliper, which RB will happily sell on a one-by-one basis at $1380 each. It's a straight bolt-on, no adapters, no fiddling around. The calipers are custom machined and finished in California by RB. If it were me, I'd also swap the rotors to RB or Girodisc to get more annulus depth so you can run deeper pads like the Corvette pads.

I cross-checked the pricing for AP Racing and Brembo Racing calipers, which are not custom fit, and the Brembo's are about $2400 and the AP's are not priced on the Essex website, so I can't compare them. Either of them would require an adapter, also not priced at this point. You might be able to find a kit from Wilwood for less, but if I remember correctly, they're not a top choice for track work.

I can change a lot of brakes LOL. I do have girodiscs. What Corvette pad are you using?

The caliper will take the 190mm length pads that work on a Corvette C6 non-ceramic brake car, or that work on the C6/C7 ceramic brake cars. It'll also take Viper pads too. I've got ceramic rotors but for winter I just run a fairly mundane (read: cheap) street pad that's marked as suitable for ceramic rotors. If you have iron rotors, the world's full of pads that fit. That Brembo caliper/pad architecture on the GT350 is used in various forms on Fords, Chevs, Dodges, Ferraris and McLarens, and probably a few others as well. The RB caliper and the wider annulus rotor gives you access to a wide range of pads
