Upset and not happy

Had to call the AA out this morning.

The breaks had seized on the front I believe and then released after 20 minutes or so.
Once I was driving back to the house the sound (loud screeching noise) seemed to becoming from the breaks again but i was able to limp home.

Has anybody experienced this?
as
Epsom FORD / AA have not had this issue before

Sad times the car is under a year old

I had a rear caliper seize.

Surprised at the front Brembo's seizing though, not heard of that before on any Brembo or quality 6 piston caliper.

Line-lock fault? Though would be very surprised if it was as the potential for litigation for Ford would be huge if it didn't have a zillion fail-safe's installed

Yes they are, Ford do not make brakes! Infact I do not think any single car manufacturer makes its own brakes, though I could be wrong.

Brakes are built by big OEM's which Brembo is one off, there are many others. Ford will give Brembo a specification and Brembo will make it or already have something suitable which then becomes a Ford part, hence the Fomoco part number and stamp, but they are made by Brembo to Ford's specification, but the quality, seals and parts to make the caliper are all supplied and done by Brembo,

For instance the front pads are made by Ferodo for the PP, they are no doubt DS2500 pads just un-branded which would explain the good stopping power, high fade resistance and very on/off feeling which is a trait of DS2500.
