How is the initial bite compared to stock?

Any noise from the pads?

Be curious to hear if the drilled areas develop any cracking over time.
Better or equal braking and better peddle feel in my opinion. Also, no brake dust. As far as cracking goes, the holes are counter sunk and the slots chamfered. If there's ever a crack it won't be there.

On the street, including on the autobahn , cross drilled are fine. Tracking or racing, they are not
I'll take a wild guess in saying the vast majority of Mustang owners are NOT tracking their cars.

I have the same Powerstop Z26 drilled/slotted rotors and pads on my 17 GT PP.

No dust, same stopping power as stock pads, maybe a bit more pedal than stock.
That first stop of the day cold bite is abrupt.
No noise, no dust.
The look cool

Powerstop Z26 and the pads also. Rotors weigh about the same as stock. Pads are carbon ceramic. Bedding the pads was a piece of cake and initially I got some brake dust but after the first dsy all clean. My opinion is that the peddle feels better than stock and performance is definitely equal to or better than stock. There are people who think spending more is always better. You can spend $200+ for pads and over $1000 easily for rotors but unless your a racer I fail to see the logic. These rotors weigh about the same as stock. That being said, I've had these on going on a month so the final chapter isn't in but at this juncture I'm more than happy. I'm in the process of doing the rear calipers (bought a spare set) and for a single piston caliper they are a pain in the ass.
What makes the rears a PITA? Is it disassembly or compressing the piston?

They're great. Absolutely zero complaints. I'm getting my rear calipers powder coated and will be installing Z26 rotors and pads on the back. Next, new half shafts. It's a sickness. I'm glad I'm divorced or I would be. 😊
