Thanks.
I'm a retired aircraft tech and myself and a buddy are going start doing them for people on an exchange basis. Any color they want. Three week turn around. Just getting it off the ground. We've got a silver pair with black brembo in the works now.

Powerstop Z26 and the pads also. Rotors weigh about the same as stock. Pads are carbon ceramic. Bedding the pads was a piece of cake and initially I got some brake dust but after the first dsy all clean. My opinion is that the peddle feels better than stock and performance is definitely equal to or better than stock. There are people who think spending more is always better. You can spend $200+ for pads and over $1000 easily for rotors but unless your a racer I fail to see the logic. These rotors weigh about the same as stock. That being said, I've had these on going on a month so the final chapter isn't in but at this juncture I'm more than happy. I'm in the process of doing the rear calipers (bought a spare set) and for a single piston caliper they are a pain in the ass.

How is the initial bite compared to stock?

Any noise from the pads?

Be curious to hear if the drilled areas develop any cracking over time.

I've been running mine for a while and no cracks yet, but I will keep an eye on them. I guy in the club has been running them for a year and he hasn't discovered any cracks yet either.

Good to hear!

How's the initial bite? About the same, or less bite with more initial pedal travel?

No noise at all. The bite is at least equal to the stockers and the pedal travel is the same. To be clear, for those with Brembos, I would not consider these to be an upgrade. What they are is, a good alternative with a lot less brake dust. Oh, if I was tracking my car, I would probabaly run something that has been proven for track use. There are people that say never run drilled rotors or drill and slotted rotors as they will fail and then there are manufactor that put drilled and or drilled and slotted rotors on their cars. Many of those cars with them are European and have highways that typically allow for speeds higher than here in the U.S. In all my years of living in Europe I can't remember a recall to change the brakes to solid rotors. For street driving, I obviously believe the "average" person will be fine with them. I do realize SOME of us on here drive our cars to their maximum limits AND in that case, these are probably not the brakes they would recommend.

On the street, including on the autobahn , cross drilled are fine. Tracking or racing, they are not
