Not sure were these 2017 production numbers came from but they are completely inaccurate.

The total number of GT350/R's built for the 2017MY were 7115 cars (includes 21 PP cars) and not 6848 as shown.

Also the number of R models built for the 2017MY were 942 and not 905 as listed.

The correct total of Base R's for the 2017MY is 44 and not 54 as listed.

Total number of GT350/R's for the first 4 MY's was 17,799 cars.

Of those first 4 year production numbers there were a total of 2138 R models built and of those numbers only 135 Base R models were produced as of April 30th, 2018.

Who knows where the 2019 production numbers will end up at but I did look at KR425 last week in Palm Springs therefore suggest that the total R production numbers may end up being somewhere around KR500 which would be a very cool chassis number to have.

:)

Harry, you always have your finger on the pulse of the situation.

Harry are the '15 '16 and '18 numbers accurate?

Yes, the 2015, 2016 and 2018 production numbers are accurate.:)

Just as a side note the 2015MY is the only year whereby Ford did not export any vehicles to Canada, Mexico or abroad and sold every car in America.

In large contrast to that the FMC decided to export 1020 GT350/R's to Canada, Mexico and abroad for the 2017MY.

Of the 1020 exported cars that year there were a total of 107 R's exported abroad with 105 R's going to Canada and 2 R's going to I believe was the Caribbean.

I’d stick with running the new GT500 blanks front and rear or upgrade to an AP BBK.

Those girodiscs will not last anywhere near as long as the stock discs

I THINK. But those 420mm rotors are going to need the GT500 calipers too then.
Dang! I thought the rears were identical.

Just noticed that it seems like you’ll have to run 20” wheels on the 500 unless you go to an AP or Brembo GT4 style kit.

So here's something interesting. Our brakes are 394mm front and 380mm rear. The 2020 GT500's brakes are 420mm front and 368mm rear.
