Lucky dog! The only thing better than a track day is a track day where you aren't responsible for maintenance and consumables.I'm not necessarily saying that these GT350 brakes need more cooling. I'm just considering the idea that additional cooling could help in many regards. Extending brake pad life for one, preventing boiling fluid, etc. Especially for where provisions have already been made just not included.
As a side note. I'm at the Track Attack today and in the intro the instructor mentioned that they did try many combinations of pads compounds and brake fluid to get the brakes to survive. I'm going to try and see tomorrow if they put on the deflectors.
So, what pads did they settle on?
