So for my birthday this year, my wife got a cake decorated with a Jack Daniels bottle, and an LED illuminated three tiered bourbon display stand for the bar. These people are making me feel like I have a problem!

lol…I try and refrain from giving comparables since everyone’s taste is different. Just hit a bar when you are there and give it a taste, they all have it out there!

about a 2 hour drive to the distillery but they limit you to one bottle of BT per visit and one bottle of anything else is once every 3 months.

I wish people would go back to drinking scotch and leave my bourbon alone.

My local Kroger sells it for $22 a bottle so I wait till they get it and buy 2. It's good bourbon but not worth more than 30 a bottle IMO. Evan Williams BIB is very good and can't beat the price. Ugly bottle however.

A friend introduced me to this a few months back, I'm hooked it's the only thing I've been drinking lately.

It doesn't get much screentime in this thread, but this is my go-to as well for bourbon. My nextdoor neighbor threw 2 shots in a glass with ice (made from distilled water) once and that was it for me. All I had ever had before that was Jack Daniels or Jim Beam.

Second to this is Rebecca Creek, then Monkey Shoulder and Angel's Envy for me. The local Spec's has Buffalo Trace and I usually walk right by it on the way to the Elijah Craig. Maybe I'll give BT a chance next time I'm in there. Also, I really want to try Garrison Brothers.

I wish they would bottle BT at 90 or 100 proof. It is a great bourbon especially when I can get if for less than 30 bucks.

I haven't seen a bottle of Eagle Rare since covid.

yes, but I find one now and again. I travel for a living and pop into the local stores when I am out and about…ran into a place the other day with CASES of ER, and had no way to get ‘em home. No limit on purchasing either
