yeah, that.

I was just recently in Edinburgh Scotland and a small wiskey shop had 3 bottles of Blantons. My local, USA liquor shop has a long-ass waiting list for Blantons. It’s my favorite and it’s never on the shelf.

You can buy it at the distillery, but they only let you buy one bottle per person every three months!

Never understood why people would pay $100 or even $250. It's barely a good $60 when I bought one.

Hopefully you picked up the Gold label. I really wish they sold it here.

Guess I’m an oddity, I like my Bullet on ice and the OL likes her Rabbit Hole black label with coke. But in our defense I haven’t even seen some of these to try.

Bulleit is a solid choice. A lot of these are hard or impossible to find.

My everyday drink (if I do is Templeton 6-Year-Old Rye. The Templeton 10-Year-Old is for special occasions. There is a plenty long list of ones that I enjoy. My current favorite is the one that you are pouring.

My bar has 2 of each of my favorites... Weller, JH Taylor, Eagle Rare, Heaven Hill B&B.
I need to try the Michter's
Buddy at work is a Bourban nut, has over 600 bottles displayed in his basement. He just scored 2 - 12year Van Winkles this last batch for $120ea... I'm a little jealous! LOL

I like Buffalo Trace. To me it has very good flavor, I just wish it was a bit hotter cause it is so smooth I can drink it like water.

The other offerings from that distiller are only found at 4 times retail if at all.

I did not like Buffalo Trace 5 years ago. Love it now. I tried Elmer T. Lee a few months ago. It's sugary vanilla goodness. Dude I want a bottle so bad.

I visited Buffalo Trace this summer. What an experience.

They open at 9AM and people get there early to visit the gift shop and buy bourbon. There's a long line into a building with 4 registration desks. When you get to the desk they take your driver's license and scan it into a computer that prints out a wristband. Then you can head to the gift shop.

There is a sign at the entrance with "today's offering". They put out a limited quantity of the day's offering in the gift shop, and when it's gone, it's gone... usually by about 11:30AM. I went 3 days in a row and was lucky to get Blanton's, Eagle Rare, and EH Taylor. Weller is their 4th offering. Every day you can buy one bottle per person of Buffalo Trace, but you can only buy one bottle of the day's offering per person every 3 months. When you pay at the register they scan your wristband and record the date that you bought that particular bourbon.

None of their bourbons are available around here so it was like winning the lottery, I love EH Taylor and Blantons.
