When the front windshield defrost option is on and then shut off, or when another vent is turned on while that one is running (less power to that vent) you can hear a very audible ā€œball bounceā€ I’m convinced it’s just underneath that vent shield somewhere but I’d like a second opinion before I start busting clips lol, also any links/advice on the best way to get that cover off along the bottom of the windshield? This car I tell ya 🤣🤣

That may be the sound of a flap moving into a new position.

Makes sense, I figured something had got in there and was being lifted/dropped by the air, mainly because it just recently started happening out of the blue. Do you happen to know where those flaps would be located on these cars? Like if I pop that vent cover off will I be able to access it or is it buried deeper in the dash? It’s a non issue at the end of the day, more or less just curious if it’ll be easy to get to or not, I can live with it if not. Thanks for the reply!

That almost sounds like a broken vent system.

any other ways I can confirm or deny that without accessing the the actual system? Also would it be difficult to get to if not?
