Hey all, just wondering if any of you have heard/experienced this before and is it normal? Car had been off for like an hour and I was doing something near the front when I noticed this noise, left for like another hour and when I came back it was no longer doing it. Is it just a pump doing...
Mine usually shifts 1-2 during the ālearningā process but after a while it normally skips 2nd and goes 1-3 unless under heavy throttle. Got random hard/weird shifts as well, Iām leaning towards tuning but realistically itās probably a combination of both. Over engineered pos lmao.
Yea and cause the pump is offset too apparently, itās just the fact that it was a common complaint and they seemed to have just left it alone. Doesnāt make me too hopeful lol
This right here. I think a lot of issues people have could be fixed relatively easy if someone knowledgeable were to actually take the time to look at it. Most shops are filled with 20-25 year olds with little to no experience behind them and like you said, without a check engine light theyāre...
Unless itās coming down from ford Iāve found they will write almost anything off as ānormal characteristicsā and not even bother. Plus after a few interactions with the dealer closest to my place, I wouldnāt even take it to them for the simplest of things. Last time I was there a guy was...
Tbh, I think it really depends on the car. My shifts with the paddles are fairly quick with no real noticeable lag, put it in drag mode and the delay is atrocious. But Iāve been in 2018+ās that shift as quick with the paddles in drag as mine do in any other mode. So if your car is as delayed in...
Iāve been given 4 so far. So long as they donāt set them to self destruct after sending them, there should be no issue with them needing them in the future?
Have had it checked, not with evidence though lol, I guess that is a good idea given most of these ford dealers reputations. Although if I do re-check it Iāll probably just jack it up and struggle to do it myself, I just always see conflicting info on the dipsticks and where the level should...
Yea wonāt really hurt anything and could potentially be a 20 min fix
me too, wonāt harm anything and could potentially be a 20 min fix if it works. Donāt happen to have the tune off your 2019 do you? I know HP has a repository but thatās always sketched me out for some reason so figured Iād...
I find they respond fairly quick compared to other cars Iāve driven, I only notice a really big delay only when itās in drag mode. If it was that delayed in all other drive modes I would probably wouldnāt even use them tbh
Well the fact that itās fine in drag but lunges in the others leads me to believe itās not mechanical, and Iāve been in other 2018+ without a 3-2 lunge so?? No harm in throwing on someone elseās stock tune to see. But thanks, I guess.
Was just curious if any of you have pulled your stock tunes, and if so, could I get one sent my way? Preferably one off a 2022 premium WITH performance pack.
I only ask because since new, when using the paddles, if you downshift 3-2 at anything above 30kmh(15mph?) the car lunges really hard...
Whenever my ecu gets reset or adaptives reset and the car is ārelearningā my driving habits, my 3-4 and 4-5 shifts feel like the trans is gonna drop out of the car it slams so hard lol but only in the sport modes, normal is fine. But after about 3 or 4 decent drives it smooths out and doesnāt...
Shitty, someone back into my 2022 a month after I got it, front end replacement(entire bumper, headlights, hood, radiator, and 1 fender I think) was like 12-15k if I remember correctly. With the side damage too, they might write it off.
