Problem is the cobra jet manifold won't fit in a s550 because the cold air intake won't bolt onto the same spot. I don't think that you can put your current cold air intake to that manifold and gt500 throttle body
I was merely speaking of the manifold on its on, not the whole intake package. You must run the dual blade or monoblade TB with the CJ manifold, so the intake, TB, and manifold must all be used together. The boss only requires the manifold. My Steeda intake fit pretty well, just needed a little love.

I see. The boss 302 manifold by itself you cant beat for the price hands down. Im going to have to get a good look at where i got to cut the hood and any other things i may have to do to get the hood to close. 302 may be my next mod lol

I have the boss mani with the steeda CAI as well. Was it a pain in the ass to get that line to connect from the drivers side valve cover to the intake tube? Mine would barely make it, and thats with the billet port hanging halfway out of the intake tube.

Just curious, wasn't it Bama when the 15 first came out that put a Boss manifold on and lost power so they put the stock manifold back on?

Yes, the driver side valve cover vent fit a little awkwardly. I found popping the aluminum piece in the intake tube first and then connecting the tube upon final completion was the best way to install.

Your hood modification looks to be much less than other members have had to do. I understand with the cover off you didn't have to take off as much so can you get a closer pic of your cut away?

In for what you can do to that max rpm also!

In my picture, I do not show the hood cut or with the boss cover removed. Both have to be performed to have decent fitment without wearing into the hood liner.

That explains why it looks to not be cut! Thanks.
