Need some help. Hopefully someone has ran into this or perhaps it’s in my tune and can tell me where to start. Car on 93 tune. My tuner has thrown everything under the sun at the car with no change in my issue.
2-5th gear I get this weird hesitation/lunging feeling when driving from about 1800rpms all the way to 2800rpms. Once i pass 2800 rpms the engine sound changes and I feel like the car has more power and the lunging goes away. Cruising or accelerating very lightly. This only accrues under 25% throttle. Anything over 25% the car feels great with no issues. Now here’s the kicker. 1st gear doesn’t do it. And 6th gear does do it. Up hills and down hills or flat ground the car acts up. Both new o2 sensors and new maf sensor just installed

First question do you have a tune for the boss 302 intake or just a generic 93 tune?

well considering the BOSS has no IMRC it's probably not a canned tune.

Are you tuned by Lund?

Vacuum leak should show up in a log.

No. And that’s what I said. Anything out of the normal would show its self. Everything looks spot on in my logs. The only thing odd with my car, my tuner said it’s taking added spark across the entire board. Ad a couple others he’s tuned with the boss intake only wanted spark from 3500rpms and up. Mine is showing anywhere from -4 all the way to -10 knock in the lower rpm’s section. As well as we can’t figure out why the car won’t go lean and n a deceleration down a hill. It will hit 20 for a second then drop back down to 14.1 and stay there completely off the throttle going down a hill.

That's the DFCO. I'd have to look at the tune to tell how it is set.

That sounds like either the borderline tables are not set up properly or the knock sensors are not working correctly.

Interesting, let us know when you get it sorted.
