Oh yeah, not looking for performance gains. Just like to have a little better sound. Just don't want to draw attention from Po-po or piss the neighbors

I just installed my Roush ab this morning and it has the perfect sound imo. No drone, quiet when crusing even at 75mph but loud when you get on it. I am debating on getting an H pipe now but people say the Roush ab with an x or h pipe is way too loud and thats not what im going for.

it's all personal preference you just gotta pick one and try it
^ This. Can't really go wrong either way, but you have to see what you like.

It's going to get quite a bit louder, the guys at CJ Pony parts had put together a good video

Hey H6G, how are they on the loud scale? I'm leaning towards the S Types, just dont want to go deaf or have my neighbors spaz.

To be honest with you.... Cold start (high idle), it's a bit loud for just a few seconds until the idle drops... The nice thing about this system is that it's pretty "civilized" if you go easy or at cruising speeds...60, 70 mph and etc. However, when you "get on it", that's when it's true sound really delivers.
Just keep in mind.... this description is for their full system (X-Pipe). If you decide to keep the stock resonator.... the sound becomes more suppressed (from axle back system).

I'm kinda curious. I've been lurking around here for a while. Debating on a new exhaust for the 2015. It is too low, my 2013 V6 with only roush axlebacks sounded wayy louder. Now, I'm sure many of you have heard a 2014 gt with roush axle backs.

Comparing to a 2014 GT w/ Roush ABs. How much of a difference is the 2015 w/ a resonator?
Debating on either roush ABs w/ resonator or lethal performance resonator delete and h-pipe w/ stock mufflers possibly go with some ford racing ABs (later depending the tone of the h-pipe & stock mufflers). Definitely don't want drone.

Funny thing is I test drove a 2015 gt with roush Abs and I can't for the life of me remember how it sounded in person. Based on the videos it sounds slightly louder than a 2014 GT. Looking for other peoples opinions.

Personally, to me. The Roush AB's by itself is what I think sound amazing, add anything else and you distort the sound Roush was originally going for. With all that being said, thats a subjective opinion of mine.

Its too easy to just try the Roush AB's at first then decide if removing the resonator is for you.

Hope that helps, any questions just give us a shout!
