So I took out the clutch switch. I noticed the clutch pedal is not touching the plunger when fully pressed. But the car is still not turning if I press the plunger all the way down.
I apologize if this has been posted, but i have a 2015 gt mustang manual that will not start. Electronics start up, like if you press the start button. The issue is when i press clutch and brake, car won’t crank and start. Today, I had the battery recharged and swapped....nothing. Not sure what...
I've had both window motors replaced due to this issue. Was going smoothly for a couple of years until recently it's happening on the driver's side. Hopefully third times the charm. Just going to have the dealer to replace it. I attempted to remove the door panel, just wasn't working out.
@Cobra Jet @CanadaCalvin88 thank you. I guess my situation was a bit different. I had the issue before where they thought their repair solved the problem. When I spoke to the ford customer service rep, I explained that rust came back in the same location and that the hood should've been replaced...
Lol I'm in the same boat. It's pretty sad that a $40k+ car has this problem, especially within a couple of years from the model year. Also it's a hit or miss, my family has had numerous fords. This is my second mustang. The worst part is that the most expensive ford we own has to deal with this...
@GT Pony is correct. I just got my claim denied. I will bring that issue up as to why the 2015s were kept out compared to the 2016+. First year glitches is not an excuse either. This is a piece of the email from Ford to the dealer. The bold statement is what has me worked up a bit. Ford will pay...
@CanadaCalvin88 I did. I will hopefully get an answer by Tuesday. As of now, it looks promising. Dealer took photos and sent it to Ford. Just make sure to take the TSB with you and show it to them.
I believe so. I saw a gt350 owner have it on one of the fenders. As for me, its only happening on the hood, same location as last time with more spots popping up.
Thanks @Cobra Jet. Taking the car tomorrow to get inspected.
I am currently dealing with this now. I got my hood "repaired" on my 2015 gt, during warranty (around 2016-2017 if i remember correctly). It started to happen again, this time in multiple locations on the hood. So according to this TSB, should it be covered?
Kind of curious, but has anyone noticed a slight droop towards the back of the headliner near the rear window. I have a 2015 gt. I was able to move it up and down. It's not flush with the roof and you can see the edge of the foam. Just wanted to know if this normal and part of ford's design or...
