Curious if anybody has had both setups (Corsa Extremes with Double H Pipe to be specific) and can tell which one is louder/deeper at idle/startup. I know Corsa Extremes will be louder at higher RPMs but have seen people say they are quieter at idle. Currently have Stock Active Exhaust with a Steeda X-Pipe and love it but looking for a little more volume and a deeper tone. Would also consider keeping current setup and adding Longtube headers but haven’t seen a whole lot of videos to compare. Thanks in advance

The Corsa was designed around their double Helix X pipe to give them their distinct tone.

Both the Corsa and Borla are x pipe setups; Corsa being a double X it will have a different tone plus the internal design of their mufflers changes the tone.

Borla will typically have a deeper tone over the Corsa as well. Really comes down to what you like the sound of most. I've got both setups in stock ready to go and the best deals!

I have both. Borla atak active on my car, Corsa active with xx pipe on the wife's car. I do have the double h pipe but have not put it in hers yet. I can tell you the Corsa is louder on cold start as is, but the Borla has a deeper tone at idle. Both are very close in volume but the borla is definitely deeper all over. I went borla on mine because both of the Corsa systems we have valve rattle in "normal" mode. Other than that they are fine.

The Corsa has more of a high rasp than a rumble even with the HH pipe. I have the Borla Atak and imo it bridges the gap between American muscle and exotic V8 tones. It doesn't have the beefy muscle car sound of, say, my buddy's MBRP race. If you want a deep idle/cruise you want an H-pipe and I don't think you'll be happy with either of those exhaust options.

Started with the ataks. Then added long tubes. Was too much for me. Added the resonator, which internally is an H-pipe and it's a pretty good tone and volume for me.

Nothing wrong with Corsa, but I prefer the sound of the ATAK. I personally have the Borla active S-type catback.
