Hello All,

I have a Vortech setup and not all that happy with the auto shifting Under partial/medium load shifting it drags in between gears when shifting. Not sure if that is just a characteristic of this transmission. Also, with the centrifigual it makes peak power at 7500 and under WOT it shifts at 7200. I was wanting it to shift at 7600-7700. Was curious how others with the a10 are getting along with boost? What is your WOT shift point?

Mine WOT shifts at 8-8400.

Call your tuner and discuss with them is the best thing to do in your case

Your tuner can set the shifts wherever u want.If u have 315 gears it might feel like its bogging down because under light throttle the ecu shifts into 3rd gear still pretty fast.

copy and paste your post and email it to your tuner. Nothing we can do in this group to help you. I would aim for a 7800rpm shift with a JT blower. You can do 8000 as well, but 7800rpm works fine

I’m not sure how much boost or power you are pushing but I’ll share my experience with high rpm shifting when boosted.

My shift points were set at around 8k RPM, overboosted a few times going down the track and it pushed trough the clutches and bounced of the limiter going through the 1/8 mile. Had to lower my shift points and tweak my BC for those circumstances...I’m still playing with the set up to get it dialed in.

But I think that with your blower you won’t have that issue, just know that about 900whp you will experience some top end clutch slipping.

My set up - 2019 A10 w hellion sleeper kit. 918whp on e85 @14psi.
