Yea I was in same boat with the strut bar. Also I thought the procharger was better paired with voodoo engine. Plus procharger has a great reputation and fairly simple to install.
Yes I agree. I had a procharger on my 97 vert GT. :) It made it a fun car. I am leaning towards the Procharger....perhaps a P1x setup. Get it all in black :)

Yea I did the the D1x at ProCharger’s recommendation for our engine. I went all black. Apparently the p1x isn’t as happy at higher rpm our motors turn.

My whipple tune has a similar dip -
Hoping it’s fixed with their latest update .
Here is the dyno graph of mine . whipple tune with 3.75 pulley ,stock exhaust with cats/93 with a can of Octanium

You can see the dip in power between 5000-6000 rpm. On the log it corresponds to a dip in timing (no knock) which I don't see on street logs.

Here is apic of the timing vs rpm log
dip is easier to see on smoothed dyno graph too

I really think the sweet spot would be mid to low 800 whp and 600 + wheel torque .
I am hoping I can pick up another 50-100 whp/torque by dropping down to a 3.625 pulley and running M109 with the updated Whipple tune.

If not then I will have to get a Lund E85 tune .
That will mean ID 1300’s and return fuel system .

Interesting. I hear the D1X is like whoa on power.....but again our 5.2 is not like the coyote engine. I have not started my research yet, but this is good info to know.

Did you speak with Procharger directly regarding the difference in the p1x and d1x for our motors ? I'm in the same boat for going procharger but havent found anything really comparing the two head units besides d1x supports higher horse power. I plan on staying stock internals and just pump gas so really interested in which is better for a simple street set up

I'm fairly certain they will recommend the P1X for you. But check with them.

I am also in that boat. I do not plan on going crazy, just some good boost with stock internals was what I was thinking about. 750ish to 800 would so me fine. Actually being in the 750's I would be happy. After all, you have to put it down.

Not sure about the prochager set up but the problem with mid 700’s whp with the whipple set up is the low torque .
I think it needs 600 + wheel torque to really be fun. I hope to get there with the latest whipple update which should let me take advantage of Race gas.
I have not been to the drag strip since I have the whipple on , but I have no problems with traction with the stock tires on the street . I also have MT ET SS DR’s in 325’s and 305’s I plan to run at the strip .
The BMR CB005 fixed any wheel hop I had when I went NA .
Also since then I also have a one piece CF drive shaft and will be using the NLT feature of the WOT box.
Hoping for at least high 10’s @130 +

My local shop just installed the F1-A procharger Stage II and Triple fore pumps on an 800 mile 2018 GT350R. Hit the dyno last week. 720 whp on 93 tune at 9 # boost.
on E85 and 10 # boost it hit 845 whp. We are going for over 1000 whp soon. The MAF was maxed out with the current size tube diameter so we are building a custom sized inlet tube for he MAF. I can post updates when we get that done. I will see if the tuner will send me the dyno sheets.

I did as well as severa reputable performance shops. The d1x performs better at the high rpms of the voodoo engine. D1x is also new tech. It’s what recommend for gt350 applications from stock to modified engines.

720 to the wheels at 9lbs on 93 is seriously good. I feel like that would be a very nice place to be.
yes that is streetable and it has very good manners at that level. There is lots of potential though. The 845 whp on E85 and only 10 # on the stock bottom end (we did put TSS OPG and Crankshaft gears in it) . We may be putting the upgrade valve springs too since we are shooting for some top hp numbers of 1000+ hp but it will have street tune in it most of the time. The owner doesn't race it but wants to have fun on occasion. He just wasn't happy with the lack of low end when street driving. 4K and up is where 5.2 FPC motors are happiest. I am very happy with the CPC setup in mine...I'm 75 to 100 ft pounds higher than my Shelby especially down low.

@GrapeApe do you have a dyno sheet handy that you can show ? You made good numbers with the whipple and meth, im curious to see how your torque is. The low end torque is obviously most of our concerns for wanting more, so Id like to compare whipple charts with procharger charts. Please and thank you !
