Gotta love those shit bag employees! in my experience (foreman for 6 years for a boilermaker crew, welder for 7 years before that, it's all I've ever done) most GOOD welder/fabricator/pipe fitter/pipe welders will have a bad attitude. But all the good ones care about their work and do really good work. Some of the shady ones don't give 3 shits if they put you in a bind or not. Those are the ones you gotta watch out for. I'm in the market for a supercharger or TT setup and I'm still going to keep you in mind. I'm not judging your whole outfit based on 1 turd employee. Seems like your doing what's necessary to make it happen. I'll keep checking in for updates.

We appreciate that.. The cool thing is that we'll have them on the shelf ready to ship. So, there's literally zero wait time.

We'll bounce back from this. People love our product, and we've tried to be as open and honest as possible. I think that goes a long way.

Thanks!

Travis

Goes a long way in my opinion for sure. I would rather know exactly who I'm dealing with rather than try and guess...

Honestly not a fan of that filter location...
It was a worry if mine also... But I have drove mine in the rain with Houston weather. Just don't drive where it's flooding and your good. In the car the filter is protected and not open at all like you think it would be.

Radiant heat...and a PITA to remove for cleaning
My IATs are no higher then stock setup when driving, and they are real easy to remove when you Jack up the car.

LOL I'm lazy...I don't want to jack the car up if I don't have something important to do. Hellion puts them right up top (not saying Hellion is better by ANY means) but I like their location...plus the bling factor of having two snails right there when you pop the hood.

I had a top mount similar to hellions. They look cool as heck up top, but that's where the advantages really stop. All the piping, more weight over the front. I noticed some plastics getting brittle.

The biggest difference I noticed is how much harder the BW kit hits.

I'm just not a fan of top mounted kits in general

- More piping = more lag. We pulled a top mounted kit off on FATHERFORD's car, and the difference in response/spool up RPM is night and day.

- Sound.. Our manifolds make for a pretty good sounding setup. Exhaust note can get goofy on some kits.

- Heat with the turbos in the engine bay makes plastic brittle over time. Wiring harness loom, wires, valve covers, etc.. so much plastic in these late model cars. There's heat wrap, turbo blankets, etc.. but again, just not my preference.

- Heat rises.. Having the turbos down low helps with grabbing cooler/cleaner air. They're still high up enough that you would have to drive your car through a foot and 1/2 of water before you had a problem. Rain does not affect them. Cleaning them happens every 10K miles. So, every other oil change, just pop them off and clean them. Takes about 5 minutes.

There's really no down side to a mid-mount setup when it's done right.
