Today, we finally completed the testing process for our S550 Billet Diff Lockouts. :headbang:

Over the past 9 months or so, we have been testing various designs. We have learned A LOT in the process, and I am happy to say that our Billet Versions should be available very soon.

One thing that I felt was very important, was doing everything we could to try and keep the NVH increase at bay. After testing several designs, we have what we feel is the best design for limiting the amount of NVH that is amplified. Surprisingly, the most simple design worked best. :clap2:

Today, we installed them on a completely stock 2015 Performance Pack GT - and the owner, which is a BMR employee, said SHE did not notice the increase in NVH at all. I put the car through the ringer, and I can say I am very pleased with the final product. I did notice a slight increase in gear noise, and drive-train slop....but extremely minimal.

We are working on the instructions now.

I am hoping they will be available for purchase, and shipping in about 2 weeks.

I will keep everyone updated.

We are also about to release our "budget" cradle support kit - which will be for the person who just wants a little improvement in reducing cradle movement, without spending much money at all.

I'm hoping this makes its way into a "Drag Pack" -- everything a person needs to make their car hook in a car wash.

Looking forward to it!

Almost every single product description starts with "reduce wheelhop" or "minimize wheelhop" it is hard to differentiate the products and figure out which one(s) you need and what they do exactly.
That is because there is no "I" in team.

In other words, they all work together.

As I stated many months ago in my wheel hop threads, we have not experienced a product thus far, or found a component that by itself, is responsible solely for wheel hop.

Every OE component that has rubber in it, is going to be part of the entire system that can be attributed to wheel hop.

If someone is starting fresh, and wants to reduce wheel hop:

1: Decide on whether or not NVH is an issue:
2: Once that is decided, start with acquiring a part that reduces cradle movement.
3: If that does not fulfill your needs, acquire components that reduce diff movement.
4: If you are still thirsty for more, then you can start looking into the other bushings on the rear like the RLCA bushings, the outer toe/knuckle bushings, etc....and of course, a good shock and spring.

What would be the difference, performance wise, between this and a product like this:

http://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=products&productid=1545&superpro=0

Seems like the install is much, much easier on the lockout kit.
The BK050 you linked is going to perform better, hands down.

The BK050 will also provide more NVH increase.

The reason is because the BK050 kit is solid aluminum.

The BK054 Lock-Out Kit is much smaller mass of aluminum, and it still has a thin rubber barrier between the aluminum and the bushing sleeve.
