Not even remotely close to CD quality. It's not the Shaker's fault; bluetooth streaming is very, VERY lossy. Think, like, landline telephone quality.

It's not THAT bad... or at least it should not be THAT bad. The SBC codec used in A2DP is good for up to 345kbps. My Pioneer DEH-80PRS in my Crown Vic sounds GOOD with bluetooth. It's certainly not as good as the files on my USB stick or a CD, but I can listen to it and not get pissed off. And before anyone says shitty speakers hide shitty quality, I have JL C5 Components in the front doors and Focals in the rear deck w/ a Hertz 4ch amp powering them.

I'm finding that the only thing that sounds acceptable to me is the FM radio and music played from a USB source in the Mustang. Satelite radio sounds HORRIBLE in this car. Bluetooth sounds pretty shitty too. I'm actually really bummed out about it. Neither of those sources has to sound as shitty as they do. Ford just skimped out on us.

A friend of mine just picked up a new IS350 Fsport. When I went for a ride, I thought he was actually listening to the radio, but he was listening to SiriusXM. The satellite receiver in the Lexus is just sooo much better than the one in the Mustang. I could still hear the artifacts and compression, but it was something you can listen to and not get super pissed.

Disappointed smh. Not buying a mustang for Bluetooth but if you have it, I expect it to be as great as the engine in this car.

The bluetooth streaming in my wifes infiniti never drops and sounds amazing. In this car, it drops and skips all the time.

there are different revisions of bluetooth

why use bluetooth where they is an aux port anyways for your phone unless some people prefer not connecting a 3.5mm cable and prefer lesser quality

Iphone 6+, 2012 Fx35. Vs a brand new 2015 mustang same iphone 6+.

Wouldn't you think mustangs Bluetooth version would be newer than my 2012?

I don't have any issues with mine dropping or skipping... just the shitty quality.

I'll just load up a USB stick with tons of music and be done with it. No the end of the world.

Not saying it's the end of the world. Just like the feature to work as it should, mine drops and speeds up (like catching up) numerous times

Quite honestly its not too bad. I'm pleasantly surprised especially after reading most of the reviews on here.

Then again maybe its because I had such low expectations that I'm pretty satisfied.

Either way its not GREAT, but it's not as bad as is it was made out to be.
