Blower cams issue

I installed L&M intake cams only for my whipple setup. After I installed it I now have this engine light which is P0017. It says crankshaft position-camshaft position correlation bank 1 sensor B. My tuner told me cams are off and they need to be reinstalled. Also one of the reason he said as well is following the procedure of installinf cams for 11-14 models not the 15s. However, could it damage the motor or the valve or cause maybe a leak down? The weird thing is that car runs perfect and no noises or anything like that except the engine light. I cleared it and it came back again. Any ideas or thoughts?

That would be my thoughts as well. When the 15's came out I saw similar issues with other cars where they would have cams setup like an 11-14.

Meaning could it hurt the motor in anyway? Thanks btw that Tremec feels awesome and now I'm dealing with that issue

Are you able to do a crank re-learn with your Bama tool? It may very well do nothing at all, but it's a very quick, and free effort.

I did the crank relearn. I actually do it whenever I flash the car. My tuner said that based on the datalog on of the cams is off.
