Back in the 80's when I belonged to the local Mustang club the Camaro club was invited to all the Mustang car shows. And we got invited to all their shows as well. I got to like their cars a lot and they were a good bunch of people. I still like the Camaro and wish GM would keep it going.

I think camaros don't look half bad :giggle: this guy and I always park nearby at work lol
Agreed. I had an SS when they came back out in 2010. I couldn’t take the terrible visibility so traded for an S197 with the new Coyote 5.0. The 5.0 is more fun to drive than the LS3. Has much more charisma. Manual trans in the Camaro was better but not enough to sway my opinion over the terrible visibility.

If I didn’t feel like a three year old in a bathtub in it.

I really wanted to like the 5th and 6th gen Camaro’s. I was about to buy a 2013 2SS in 2013. I just never could find a comfortable seating position. It wasn’t even about visibility, to sit up how I wanted my head was touching the headliner. To be able to fit without my head touching I had to have the seat leaned back uncomfortably, and I’m only 6’2. The Mustang, for me, fits me better of the 2. The Challenger I fit in ok too, but that’s not a sports car.

i thought it was a 650 for a second LOL
Exactly. It's not that the Camaro is a bad-looking car -- it's not, it's actually very attractive and would have been my second choice behind the Mustang -- it's that I don't want Mustangs to look like Camaros.

That Camaro is 2018 or earlier, isn't it? I didn't think they were ugly, just not as user-friendly as a Mustang.
...And I think that has been a reason for all the years the Mustang outsold the Camaro. I remember an automotive engineering professor talking about R&D costs and saying for the 1993 F-body GM spent twice as much as Ford spent developing the 1994 Mustang. Then people bought almost twice as many Mustangs as Camaros.
I always suspected it had to do with the front view out of that Camaro resembling a machine gun slit in a bunker (sketchy to drive) and the engine being partway under the windshield (a pain to work on).

...Then there was the 2019 Camaro that Camaro fans called "The Abomination".
