I blew cylinder #8 @ 2k miles around 3 months of ownership - The car wasn't tuned and I babied it. Ford replaced my small block and got me back on the road within a week. They extended my warranty so I upgraded the car to PP2 and since then I've been driving it like I stole it.
I've always been paranoid that the new motor wouldn't hold up so I've had all of my oil changes analyzed by Blackstone laboratories in preparation to fight Ford for another new motor. The first test wasn't so great but tests #2 and #3 continued to show improvement, things are looking good according to them. Taking her on a 1,000 mile round trip to the beach in two weeks!
