That looks damn good Bobsp12 think you've convinced me with those photos! Looks great on CO. Now I'm unsure how it will look with my chrome magnaflow exhaust tips if I do go the black route.. Considering changing back to the competition just so I can get black tips. :S that's after convincing myself it would be too loud for every day use to get the competition... Sigh.. Wish my car would come so I could drive it instead of thinking about all this.

Are you gonna wrap it?

Edit: no innuendo intended
Haha yeah, the plan is to leave it at work for the first week for the boys to wrap it. It will help protect the original paint and make it stand out a mile away. Keeping the design under wraps (no pun intended ;)) for the moment though.

Looks great bobsp12. Did you buy a kit or black them out yourself?

I personally think black out is the only way to go. I totally love the look.
I've ordered shadow black, but I will be blacking out anything that isn't black already :D. Though I'm changing the colour of the car so the black out should stand out.
I bought the badges from UPR products...pretty easy to change.

I went the black tip exhaust route with the Borla s type, it did complete the look. But to be honest, the chrome tips looked fine with the blacked out rear. There is still those crap clear taillights ruining whatever you do.
The waiting is a total pain, no doubt about that.

Hmm interesting, I do think the black tips would complete the look. I'm kind of an all or nothing sort of guy. I guess I might just wait and see before ordering my blackout pack and see what parts I want to change. I can't stand the clear tail lights. Will be installing Dennis' red vinyl kit the day after I get the car.

Slightly off topic but how are you finding the Borla S type?

Lahiru...I am extremely happy with it...as I have said many times, we have not had the radio on since the exhaust went on....it just sounds great whether accelerating hard, just burbling along or off throttle. I am sure most of the other brands sound good as well, but I have no intention of changing it. There is no drone at all. It has a unique sound compared to the usual collection of cars with a modded exhaust around here...that is probably the coyote itself, but it is different to the miami version of the coyote in falcons.

This guy has convinced me to go the blackout look on my RR and get the Steeda progressive springs.
Perfect look. I am still a little unsure of how the chrome exhaust will look but it will only slightly take away from the look if anything. Just don't think I want to go to competition level of loudness for the black tips.
