Just a couple of photos showing off what a good paint correction, polish, and a coat of CQuartz can do for your Black Stang. These pics are about 8000 miles old now, but the cquartz is still shiny as it was day one and hasn't lost any of its water shedding ability. Can provide more photos by request.

So what specific CQuartz product? In the past I've used several products from major suppliers and a few boutique companies, but this is some pretty impressive results.

The car was "vandalized". the Police suspect someone tried to steal it and once they couldn't get in they just beat on it with a bat. the driver side window is shattered. the seat is ripped. there are dents in the driver door and passenger door. windshield shattered. hood dented. ventilation system is covered in glass dust and needs to be replaced. rear window shattered. bumper dented. fuel door pried open and there is a white residue on the inside. the deck below the rear window is also dented from where the bat went through. left rear was blown by the tow truck driver and rim was damaged when it was towed. I haven't started it yet for fear of sugar or something in the gas tank and don't want to blow my engine. insurance wont cover dropping the tank and flushing it so I have to pay 1500 to have that done and fuel lines replaced as a preventative measurement.
oh and also scratches all over the place because there was so much glass that was shattered. all in all, insurance quoted 11k in damage and has sent me a check to cover it. now there is more popping up and I need to submit a suplimentary claim to cover about 1200 more in damage. the wheel was found to have ripped leather, the driver side trim panel has tons of scratches in the plastic and cloth.
its just a fucking nightmare. :tsk:

edit - between this and the three times I have been rear ended the car could have been totaled.
3k the first time. 1200 the next and 1500 the third. now over 12k. $17,700.00 total in damage to this car that I paid 32k for. im over it. ready to sell and take a hit and buy a ducati or something. the thing that really pisses me off is I try to take such good care of it. I haven't hit anything only been hit by other people. I wash every week, wax every month. shampoo the seats once ever 3 months. and bad shit keeps happening. really discouraged right now.

I'm in a pretty safe neighborhood here, although for some parts of my country I'm keeping my 20 year old bruised BMW around, just in-case I have to be somewhere that I don't trust.

But in your case it almost sounds like the car was vandalized for fun, since who will bring a bat to steal a car. I would think that car thief's are a bit more professional than that. Did you find any witnesses or nearby camera's you could possibly check?

They obviously had an electronic device with them as the alarm did not go off. I locked and armed the car after I found it, reached into the driver side door and opened it and the alarm chirped but did not go off.
one witness. saw it from his deck. asshole didn't even call the cops. just saw me in the morning and said he saw it happen, couldn't id anybody or tell me what they were driving. basically just said man im sorry. I should have called the cops.
