My black Stang looks pretty hot when it's clean. The problem is that it looks dirty 5 minutes after washing it. Black is not a good color for dusty southwestern states. I swear I will never buy another black car.

Xpel film on the front and ceramic coating on the whole car.
My car is untreated
Admittedly I'm so paranoid of scratches/marks that I try and not touch it
I've had my car for 5 months and I've only washed it 3 times and after I wash it I put it in the garage,

2 times I pre foam , rinsed and let it air dry, 1x washed it with an expensive wash mit and hand dried

Hello hello, relax. Don't worry. Enjoy the car. Sooner or later they all get a scratch. No biggie.

I've been shocked how soft this paint is. Had many black cars, this has been the most difficult to keep right.

Oh that's not good, this is my first black car ever but I had heaps of prewarnings from everyone about black cars

I also recently found a long micro scratxh above my rear wheel area that I assume I got when I squeezed passed my car in the garage and a zip or button rubbed on my paint.

No more squeezing past my car in the garage now

What mine looks like after it rains then, followed by one of our notorious west TX dust storms
