Black roof

I was quoted $180-$250 from different shops using 3M or similar vinyl. Going to get it done as soon as I decide if I'm getting racing stripes or not.

Black stripes, thin like the GT350R. Was going to do just the stripes, but after seeing the GT350R black roof, I've changed my mind. Mine Stang is Oxford so the stripes will complement the black roof.

Hi Draco, the gloss black looks amazing - I am getting TY with PP and I think you've convinced me to this to my roof.
Mind posting snaps from other angles and distance?
Did they wrap the antenna or paint it?

What about care for the vinyl vs paint? Wax? Dirt? Edges of the vinyl? A year from now will it look the same? I too am getting the white and want to black out the roof but stuck between painting and wrapping.

I asked the installer the same questions when I got my windows tinted. He said, you need to keep it clean. In other words, if your car/roof is dirty, you need to keep it out of direct sunlight, as to prevent scratches and the baking of particles into it. To use wax on it the same way you would your car. If the job is done correctly, it should easily last 4-6 years. The company offers a 1 year warranty on any and all defects on their installations. I am choosing the wrap over painting because, I like the idea of changing it to different wrap or removing it all together. Plus $225, is a lot easier to swallow, vs a semi permeant change to the car.
