So I have a magnetic ecoboost. I am thinking of blacking out the roof. Any recommendations on best product to use. I assume a vinyl wrap, but not sure of brand or if there are any 15 kits? I figure glossy over matte and maybe then a dark tint for the rear window so it all flows.

I was thinking of doing the same on my Ingot Silver Ecoboost. The only concern that I have is that the roof where it meets the front windshield is slightly narrower than the glass which spoils the unified look of the continuation of the front glass into the rear.

I was looking at using gloss black vinyl wrap.

Here's a Photoshop I found (sorry I can't credit the creator)

I was thinking of two options for my Oxford White:

1. Paint the roof black or,
2. Vinyl wrap the roof with 3M Carbon Fiber

Either, this is happening soon!

So got first quote, um $650. Not gonna happen. I will do some research and by a kit, cant be that hard to adhere the thing.

I am going today for my quote. Also, today I received my quote for the Carbon Fiber wrap( roof only)for $350. Once I get the quote for painting the roof, I will make my decision.

You should be able to purchase some 3m wrap and do something like this. Or wait for a kit.

Well, here is mine. I got it done this morning. I made the right choice by wrapping the roof instead of getting it painted. The process took about an hour and a half. They also covered the antenna with no loss of signal for the GPS or reception for the radio. BTW, the vinyl is a 3M product.
