So are there any black lug nuts that aren't smaller in diameter and won't show the unpainted portion of the stock wheels?

Went with McGuards and a little universal black touch up paint. A little pricey but I think they are worth it.

Apologies in advance, just had to say something about my experience:

My MRR 350 wheels came minus the lug nuts, despite assurances that they would be included. Good customer service would have been to say "Not a problem, I'll send a set over straightaway." I'm in Australia, so that didn't happen.

After a lot of searching I settled on Gorilla 71643NBC from Amazon. After 6 weeks this is what turned up.

If this is supposed to be new, I'd hate to see what used looks like.

They should be ashamed of themselves.

Dirty Bag:

Paint peeling and surface rust appearing:

Rust inside every lug nut:

Amazon have agreed to a refund.

Now I just need to find a good vendor to sell me a set of lug nuts.

I painted the internals of my wheels to cover the silver ring exposed with aftermarket lugs. I use a winter tire/wheel combo so it was easy to do over the winter in my garage. Mask off the wheel and spray. Easy/Peasy.

From what I can tell, the best way to keep them from chipping is don't use an impact to install or remove. Hand-torque them and they should be fine.

I went through a lug nut ordeal a few months back as my stock ones started to swell(they are 2 piece) and sockets would get stuck on them.

I wanted the same size, as to not show the unpainted finish in the lug holes. These are and will have no issues with swelling as they are not 2 piece like OEM.

I also went chrome as I have the 20 inch foundrys but gorilla offers the identical 1 piece lugs in black.

You want the factory style bulge, in chrome or black chrome. Part numbers can be entered into whatever vendor you wish, amazon, jegs, summit, etc.

Hope this helps.

Sorry for the delay in getting back on here but just want to say a big thanks to Paul at N4SM.

He organised a set of black lug nuts for me, all individually packed in clear little plastic bags.

I'm now a happy chappy!! Will be getting the wheels fitted on the car soon.
