Howdy all,

Was driving this past Thursday home with Advancetrac off and in Drag mode and was just coasting along in traffic coming to a stop when I get hit with a series of messages after trying to call someone on android auto.

1. Service engine soon
2. Advancetrac off (weird since it was already off)
3. No collision assist available

After those messages I realized the car cut a large chunk of power to the engine and the clutch pedal was heavier than normal so I pulled over and restarted the car and after restart the car was back to normal without issue and no wrench was now present on the dashboard.

Drove home about 10 miles and parked the car and found out engineer test mode exists to pull codes and those codes C14000 and C41500 are present in the dash only in engineer mode and only under the 'historical' category. I have since driven the car around 70 miles thinking there was likely a sensor being pissed off from all the dust on the road or there was an electrical surge but these codes have remained. I have not had the check engine light or a wrench show up since that restart and I am not finding any noteworthy information regarding this issue on the internet so wanted to see if any of you have encountered this.

Thanks all.

if youre tuned they can pop up, or if the battery is bad I believe, I dont think they really mean much aside from that, if you are having that issue you need to request a tune revision from BAMA, send them a datalog of the issue ASAP, are you noticing any harsh shifting or heasitation? what mods do you have?

No tune at all was just in drag mode with advancetrac off. I've had this car for 6k of 26k miles and have driven a tuned mustang and this isn't one although who knows what prior owner did 😅. Also no harsh shifting and no mechanical mods I am aware of aside from aftermarket subwoofer and x pipe

These codes have been posted a couple of different times here but none have a report back as to cause. 'C' trouble codes appear to be Chassis-related and also might be related to ABS sensor issue.
Did find those and they seem to be very vague ABS codes. Going to get a battery load check done and if the battery is good I'm taking it to the mechanic.

I do find it weird that the ABS light has never come on and the computer found an issue with advancetrac when advancetrac was turned off.

Appreciate the help/ideas.

Took it to the mechanic and they checked everything having to do with abs including wheel tone rings and wheel speed sensors and couldn't find anything specific. Offered to do some software resets as the battery checked out fine but I declined and have decided to just wait to see if this is a one time situation.

If you have a check engine light or code that is consistent and current however please do take to the mechanic as they would have a much easier time diagnosing an active problem versus a one time problem in the past.
