2035-2040 puts them behind most of the other manufacturers.

Ford is already there with MachE - they're playing catch up here. Also - it's 15 years from now. If someone doesn't think we will all be driving electric cars by then, is delusional. Especially given this morning release of updated Model S that blows all the Hellcats and GT500s of the world out of the water.

I took a ride in a friend's Taycan last week. The straight line torque curves are pretty amazing. I will always like my GT350 driving experience better, but I can't knock the EV performance vehicles.

I still wonder where we get all
The power needed to charge these cars and the materials needed to make all the batteries.
they are gonna be made by oil drillers and pipeline workers. lol and of course the cost of electricity will probably double or triple!

If I still have my car 15 years from now and choose to drive it, I damn well will. I'm not against EVs, I just like options.

This - I got to drive Model P85 (don't think it was D-one and certainly not P100). It was incredible.

Ill make sure I buy the last V8 Mustang. I drive about 6000 miles a year and am 43. Last model year of the next gen should get me to death lol.

It's 2021, and people are still trying to make this tired, baseless argument?

Your 2019 could already take you to your deathbed readily enough if you really wanted... If rumors are to be believed, the "next gen" won't have a V8, anyway. (I could see them dropping it for a turbo 6 even if it doesn't go all electric)
