Finally decided to bite the bullet. After saying I was going to buy a ctsv v2 and almost buying a few, I realized that I didn’t want to spend that type of money on a 10+ year old car.
Found out I had X plan through work, so with the intention of just asking questions at the local dealer on 7/28 I walked out having order a 2021 velocity blue premium gt with 401a package, show stopper red seats, hd radio with b&o, active exhaust, and a 10speed. Still surprised I went with an automatic, but traffic sucks and my 96 cobra has a manual if I get the itch.
Guy at the dealership didn’t make me pay anything down, said he needed to order one more anyways and will just use what I want. Chose this dealership because they are roush approved and already thinking of a phase 2 kit for it.

Now for the waiting game, I’m guessing close to 3mo after reading the posts in here.

I was wanting a sedan or wagon, but if I bought a sedan I wanted a manual and would have taken a wagon however. And wagon prices are just stupid.

Yeah the wagons are very desirable and in demand.

I can barely stand the look of my 4 door pickup.

Well the tracking page shows still in production, but I just got an email that it will be delivered 11/11-11/17. Getting close!!!!

yesssssssssssssssss! mine shows 11/10 to 11/16 and convoy, so maybe it'll be quicker! my loan checks in the mail, and my weathertechs and sto n sho plate holder are sitting in the garage ready to go!

I will be surprised if mine comes in that quick since it shows mine is coming in via rail. Not gonna complain. Then I have to wait for the blower to be installed. Hopefully be driving before December.

Got the email this morning, it’s shipped. Have also decided not to the roush…I think. Between getting sick in the spring and some of my investments I made for my down payment tanked, didn’t get quite as much to make for a down payment as I wanted. Just keep telling myself I don’t need two boosted mustangs at the same time…I do…but money

Called ford performance to see if they could see anything on tracking. Says they can only see that it shipped and eta is still the same. 11/11-11/17.
